About Us
MicroStar Computer Systems is a family owned and run
business
that was established in 1990 as an importer and distributor of
computer components. Over the years the company grew to be
recognised and respected within the IT industry, servicing large
computer manufacturers, resellers and corporate end users.
Microstar's sister company, NB Enterprise (est 1972) is also
involved in supplying IT equipment and solutions to large
institutions such as the North-west government, making the
family group of companies a well rounded organisation within
the IT industry. During the past six years the company has
changed focus and it has become one of the largest importers
and distributors of used computers in Southern Africa, which is
made possible through its extensive experience in the
international IT arena and its strong business alliances
throughout the world. The company distributes quality used
systems and components to a large variety of customers
including schools and generally people who need computing
power at a fraction of the cost of a new system. Microstar has
its head office, warehouse and retail facilities situated in
Potchefstroom with a staff compliment of 18 people who
ensure that the company's reputation for quality and reliability
is upheld.
